To intervene in a building with architectural value and history is always a privilege. The project dialogues in a respectful way with the pre-existing, highlighting and maintaining spatial qualities and details of the original architectural project. The aim is to maintain the essence and soul of the house. The perception of the space and its sensations are the same as the previous generation had, but the uses have been liberated and democratised, they have been updated.
Children are the protagonists of the space. Many of the rooms have been designed and adapted for them. Spaces such as the formal dining room are freed up for play and learning, giving rise to interesting reflections on the hierarchy of spaces and their relationships. The natural and warm materials surround the atmosphere with peace and serenity and provide, together with the treatment of natural light, balance to all the inhabitants of the house.
