LECOC ARCHITECTURE, ARCHITECTURE STUDIO COMMITTED TO CERAMICS

Ceramics has been a key element in the development of architecture for more than 4,600 years. And we have been beside it for 10. At CEVISAMA 2020, we want to be closer to the industry than ever.

As architects, we know that the versatility offered by ceramics enacts itself as an architectural language by its own. And we believe in ceramics to design to fulfil ou dreams as creators of structures and buildings.

Colour, shapes and textures, as well as a constant dialogue with the most natural light, make the use ceramics a vital starting point for new ways of understanding and living architecture.
In Lecoc Arquitectura we have understood that ceramics is a manner of expression can be the starting point of the aesthetic look of our projects. Ceramics can be the keystone for a revolutionary language that offer endless possibilities.

As a consequence of its ancient artisanal nature, we have turned the universe of ceramics into a vehicle for our particular aesthetic experience in the architectural world.
If architecture is the field where we live our daily lives, ceramics is the subtle language that expresses our the feelings of those who enjoy and live in the buildings we design.
Our commitment to centuries of artisan work translates into respect and admiration for the constant search for architectural solutions and, at the same time, a mysterious way of communicating artistic feelings. As craftsmen, that is our starting point.

Starting there, we recognize and reuse the millenary tradition and technique to adapt the new architectural technologies, thus returning to the values of an essential architecture. An essential architecture capable of the deepest essence of man.
We look for the original substance of human beings in their environment. That is what architecture should be, at least for us. That is why – inspired by nature – we rescue the depth of its meaning and turn it into an essential architecture.
With this, we arrive at CEVISAMA 2020.

OUR KEY PROJECTS IN EUROPE AND AFRICA

Lecoc Arquitectura has rescued traditional architectural wisdom in most of its projects.
In the creation of Oncopole Hospital, the largest cancer hospital in Africa, we combined the personality of Algerian architecture and translated it into a modern and contemporary space.

The particular aesthetic that characterizes our studio is able to establish dialogues with the landscapes where we building, always adapting typical elements of the traditional architecture of each of the places where we work and adding the use of ceramics.

Lecoc Architecture brings new ways of understanding and living architecture, always keeping in mind that the balance between nature and man predefines our ideas because we know that only from there does all the architectural space reach the essence.
Reflection and visual poetry, and integration with the landscape, are the watermarks of Lecoc Arquitectura.

WE CREATE TOGETHER: ARCHITECTS AND CUSTOMER

Our architecture does not seek to impose itself on the scenery or on the people using the buildings we create. On the contrary, we know that the premise is the human being and his balance with the environment.

Only from there can the essence of each of those protagonists be rescued. That is our vocation and that is why our clients choose us.

Knowledgeable in their own right of the Valencian ceramic tradition, Lecoc Arquitectura puts in its hands a step further in the use of ceramics as its language.
Thank you for joining us, at CEVISAMA 2020.
