Intervening in a hospital with history and significance for its community is a challenge that requires sensitivity and vision. The intervention in the Radiology area of the Malvarrosa Hospital dialogues with the pre-existence to integrate it in a respectful way, transforming 365 m² into spaces where technology and design converge at the service of people. Diagnosis and consultation areas coexist in harmony, with warm materials and details designed to provide comfort, accessibility and tranquillity. Natural light floods every corner, providing an environment that humanises the hospital experience and raises the quality of care.

The project has been carefully conceived to respect the daily functioning of the hospital, carrying out the works in a sectorised manner and with a minimum impact on the care activity. This transformation not only modernises the environment but also redefines the relationship between space and user. Every design decision prioritises the human experience, from the distribution of flows to the choice of finishes. The balance achieved between functionality, design and empathy places the Malvarrosa Hospital as a benchmark in healthcare architecture, highlighting the harmonious interaction between health and built space.
