The hospital project is located to the west of the city of Algiers, in the area of the Zeralda station, a predominantly rural and natural area. The urban nuclei appear in a punctual and dispersed way, only connected by paths or small winding roads that run through the existing topography. We are facing an implantation in which evidently the nature wins in surface in front of the urban thing. The urban is reduced to small settlements.
The settlements are arranged around these predominant green areas, as if they had to find their way through the winding terrain. This is the way the project relates to the territory. The project seeks to have a relationship with nature, with permeable entrances of vegetation towards the interior of the building, promoting the connection with the exterior and the long views towards the mountainous environment and the sea.
